“Mark was incredible! He really puts the 'master' in Master of Ceremonies! Not only was he engaging, fun and super well organised on the night; his dedication to our event started from the moment I engaged him as a vendor 6 months earlier. We spoke multiple times on the phone, exchanged heaps of emails and Mark even took the time to meet my (now) husband and I at the venue to get a lay of the land. Retro DJ Events also has a great website that made it very easy to create a running time sheet for the big day and Mark also offered lots of helpful input. On the night many of our guests assumed Mark was family, as he was so warm and genuine with everyone. He often checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed and worked tirelessly to ensure the night ran smoothly, so that my husband and I could just relax and enjoy. Lastly, the value of the service was incredible, I think if we had spent ten times as much we could not have found a better a company or person for our big day!

We absolutely loved Mitch - and so did our guests! Mitch definitely knows his way around the decks knew exactly what to play and when, for every part of the night and we received many complements from friends on the great playlist. His attitude was super professional and he was very considerate of our music tastes, while simultaneously ensuring the music was accessible and enjoyable to everyone at the wedding. In fact, our guests danced through the whole night and the dance floor was full from beginning to end. The DJ booth and set up also looked great in our venue, obvious effort had been put into making sure the equipment looked good. This was an excellent value service, worth every cent and more!

Mark & Mitch were brilliant and ensured everything ran perfectly. Before the ceremony Mark took time to speak to each my husband and I to help calm our nerves and make sure we (and our bridal parties) knew exactly what to do. The equipment set up was perfect, the music was perfectly timed so that everything felt seamless. and the music sounded great on the high quality speakers. This service came in a package with our MC & DJ hire, so it was excellent value, and we couldn't be happier with how our ceremony turned out.”
